The Anthrax is a wake bait with a roller gyro balancer system (PAT.P), which allows the ball weight to shift on the shaft balancer, creating a high-pitched clicking sound and a wide variety of multi-actions.

A slow retrieve produces a super rolling action on the water's surface, with its abdominal fins (anal fins) tailing left and right to push through the water current and create a unique triangular wave. Increased retrieve speed transforms it into a subsurface shad, rolling and swimming about 10-20 cm below the surface. A slapping jerk creates the splashing and bubbling effects of a boil bait on the surface. A stop-and-go action recreates the fluttering and rising behavior of a panic bait after a dive.
